I have been put under with a fast heart rate before and nothing ever happened. In fact the anesthesia lowered my bp,pulse and heart rate to normal. Anxiety will increase your numbers, try to relax.

I had this same concern. I am anemic, due to this condition I have tachycardia and anxiety when around doctors, because I've been to so many. Just let everyone know at the hospital or sx center, they will give you a little something to calm you down before you even go in. I had to have an Endometrial Ablation sx with fast heart rate, everything was fine. I wish you well. FLFLOWERGIRL
I also admitted for a laposcopy with svt. The doc came to me and questioning me like a criminal. End up I had to hand over all my med for them to keep. Plus the X-ray showed a pacemaker there! Anyway, they put me into sleep. When I woke up, my heart was very peaceful. No more racing. :D
