I'm a 17 year old male and I have really bad back problems. I can't even sit through a whole movie at the movie theater without my back hurting to the point where I have to step outside and stretch. It is most likely due to me sitting at the computer desk all day when I was younger (and still mostly do). What should I do? I think it is because of my chair ... I got a habit of sitting down in a bad position ..

Are you athletic at all? Proper diet and exercise are really essential at this time in of your life, as well as throughout your life of course.

There are core muscles that help you to protect and stengthen your spine. Those are a particular focus for the back and spine (which includes abdominal muscles, which is a wall that helps to support your spine and back).

If you are hurting, I would suggest that you speak with your regular doctor and discuss what is hurting, how badly, how long, and what can be done to help you feel better.:)
