Hi Everyone.....I went today for a re-check of my wbc . Four weeks ago I went to the dr and she did a normal cbc. For the first time ever, my numbers were below the normal. The result was 3.9 (4.5 is the lowest in the range). As you can imagine, I was quite surprised. I was not sick at the time of the test. So today I went for another test and now I sit and wait. I am a 39 year old healthy female. What could this be? Could this be a sign of trouble brewing? Please someone .....reply to this posting. Thank you very much

Your count is just mildly low. More importantly what were the results of your wbc differential (neutrophils, lymphocytes, monocytes, eosophils, basophils)? This may be able to tell you a little more. Have you went for your retest yet? Try not to worry - hopefully everything has returned to normal for you. Keep in touch.
