I have had a little tenderness in my armpit for awhile but nothing major, I shaved my arms this morning and found a lump. Was a little concerned as my aunty has just conquered bc and had a lump in the same place as mine.
I booked myself an appointment to see gp, went down removed my shirt and bra and she spotted I have both nipples pierced, she felt the lump and said its down to them meaning my nipple bars and told me to remove them and sent me on my way.
I have had them done for well over a year with no problems before and I have no pain so I doubt very much it is due to them.

She didn't offer me anything like a mammogram or ultrasound, just to be on the safe side with my family history

Would you say I should go for a 2nd opinion, there is alot of cancer in my family, i'm 22, have two children and am very scared

Yes, go for a second opinion if only to give you peace of mind. Sounds like your visit was more of a judgement on their part than an evaluation. You could also go back and ask them for an ultrasound to be on the safe side. Could be just lymph node enlargement or something easy.
