thanks Sponsor Titchou 07-24-2007, 12:16 PM If you take your temp 4-6 times a day for a week, you'll find fluctuations. I doubt this is something to be concerned about. Could be any number of things....allergies, a cold coming on, a mild sinus infection, or nothing. If it gets to 99.6, I might call the doc. Take a couple of tylenol and don't worry about it.
marnb77 07-24-2007, 05:11 PM thanks.. i'm just sick of feeling "not myself", it's only been a week and maybe i'm being impatient but I just want to feel better again. Granted the fever was so little, I still felt sick. My arms and legs feel kinda sore too. I don't think I have a flu.. I think it all ties in with my surgery. My tongue has also turned a nice shade of white. Don't know if it is because of dehydration or what.. trying to drink tons of fluids. I'm just kinda depressed right now and want to get back to "normal".. I spoke to the nurse this morning who didn't seem to concerned so who knows.. I just know I don't feel like myself... :(
cindyrose 07-24-2007, 06:24 PM I too was running a lowgrade fever after the surgery, and from what I read in the brochure I received about the GB removal, that is expected.
Have you gone in for a follow-up with your surgeon or general physician? I had a follow-up with my surgeon a week after, and with my GP two weeks after. I know what you mean about wanting to feel normal. Although I can't say my recovery has been that bad, I haven't been in terrible pain or anything, others have been through far worse, but still, I miss my old self. |
