Hello
I think I have tmj which is making a balance problem I have worse. I had some cranial work done today, ah bliss until I was practising putting a splint in and out opened my jaw heard a huge crack and since them my ear is really full, getting headachs causing me to feel dizzy and sick. Does anyone have any self help methods to get rid of this full feeling in the ear, its really unpleasant. I've tried heat therapy on the joint but no good, any other ideas I'm desperate and am going back to work tomorrow and need to be fit! thanks

Hi faith,
I was wondering about anti-inflammatories. When I get the muscle tension in my head / neck sometimes I get congested / sinus flare up. I heard anti-inflammatories are good for this, but I don't know what they are. I looked it up on the web and it said perscription steroids. Is there anything OTC or a home remedy you know of?
thanks,
loudawg

Just wondering what type of cranial adjustments are you getting, by an osteopath or someone who uses the upledger technique?
I wish I had an answer for the ear fullness. I also have it on one side.

Hiya I get craniosacral therapy. I've had tmj for the last four years, which has affected my balance and i had bad neck, head and face pain first time around. I'm getting a repeat of that and its horrible. It's into day 5 now and I can't get any relief. Going to get a massage tonight to see if I can't get the muscles in my neck and back to unknot. I can't take anti-inflammatories unfortunately. I know what you mean though this pain in my head is horrible and mine radiates down my right hand side. They thought I was having a stroke at one point ;-) doctors, bless!
