anyone have bursitis in the shoulder? (The doctors beleive I have it.) If so what are/were your symptoms? and does it flare up often? .. I need information about it cuz my doctor said that it goes away on its own but mines not going away, so I am questioning whether I have it or not.

I`ve had it for two years on the elbow. Only lately the pain is subsiding. The nearest thing to healing it was wearing a sling and don`t move or tense the arm at all. I found it practically impossible not to move or tense my arm, that`s probably why I still have it..
Your post is very similar to mine when I posted on here about my elbow. Does the shoulder really hurt bad. I was pretty much in agony with it for 18 months. I don`t go to the docs, I do a symptoms test on the net. bursitis was the nearest match it came to.

I would see an othopedist who specializes in shoulder issues to get an accurate diagnosis. I had tendonitis and rotator cuff issues and the orthopedist prescribed physical therapy. (I couldn't take pain medication because of stomach issues). It really helped.
