Hi. I do not know if I posted this on the right thread. I just need your inputs here please. Every time I eat fat, and had a lot of it (which is usually the case) - after a while I feel like throwing up. What could be causing this? I have been feeling this for quite some time now. Thanks in advance for your inputs. :)

I guess this could go in the digestive forums. I tend to avoid fats as much as poss.

Look in the Liver Disorders board. It sounds most like your gallbaldder is inflamed and/or it is filled with stones.
Unfortunately any heptaitis shows that same awful sumptom...nausea after eating fat.
If the pain comes in waves separated by several minutes it's gall bladder...if the mere SMELL of greasy food makes you want to dry heave, then it's probably hepatitis.:(

Thank you for your reply. Will look into that board

pork fat and other fried foods have made me feel sick ever since I can remember- I have no gall bladder trouble or hepatitis and avoiding these foods has really helped my weight, cholesterol, etc. (of course this doesn't mean you should not investigate this.)
