...I don't stop by that often but I was in the neighborhood and just wanted to let those who may not remember me what i have found that helps.
...At one time I was sufferering 2 vertigo attacks every week. I have now gone over 4 years without a vertigo attack. I have accomplished this by identifying some triggers i have and controlling them. I found that foods with wheat or oats (gluten) would trigger an attack right after eating.
...I also found that if I skipped a meal, I would get a vertigo attack. I found that by reducing sugar and starches helped me avoid those attacks also. With dietary changes remember it's important to make sure to maintain your balance of nutriants, vitamins, and minerals. It's very easy to eliminate a certain nutriant when reducing different foods. For example potatoes are high in potassium so if a person reduces potatoes, they need to replace it with a food that is similar.
...Bottom line is that diet can play a big role in our symptoms. If I remember right, most people here have labs and not meniere's so this is probably useless information, but just in case, I decided to post.
