Hey guys, I've been feeling pretty bad the last couple of days and decided to finally make a post.

Well, my doctor gave me these pills that are supposed to stop anxiety i think, and i've been on them for a couple of months. But suddenly I've been having trouble breathing and getting itchy all over from taking them.

I've tried to stop taking the pills, but i get these sort of "Pulses", especially when i move my eyes. These Pulses make me feel suddenly feel a shock inside my body / make me dizzy.

I've been wondering if i could stop taking the pills completely without any serious side effects.. The pills never really did anything to help me anyways, but i'm wondering if these "pulses" will go away after a couple of days.

Thanks.

By the way, here's what it says on the pill case:
EFFEXOR XR 75MG
VENLAFAXINE HCL XR 75MG
PCH/ELLRP/W EFFEXOR(75)

You need to call the doctor who prescribed these ASAP and tell him what's going on. Some drugs you shouldn't just stop taking due to side effects. You'd be better served to ask first.

Stopping the medicine was a good thing. Your next step should be or have been to call and notify your pharmacist and doctor. They need to know of your reaction and will be able to narrow down the mostlikely culprite. I am not familiar with that drug so can not offer more specific advice. Good luck on getting over the proverbial hump.

Sincerely,
MG

Alright, thanks a lot for the replies guys.

My doctor said i'm going to have a rough couple of days. I've already barfed a couple of times because i've been off the pills. Atleast i wont be having breathing problems anymore. :)

I appreciate the responses guys!
