Does anyone know whether or not when minimium
wage increases will our monthly disability checks?
Because minimum wage is about to go up,very soon.
I think 75 cents an hour.

I would appreciate any information.

Thanks,Sherri

Hi!

I'm going to go out on a limb here and say no, I really doubt it. I don't think one has anything to do with the other. Our benefits aren't considered a wage since we don't get paid by the hour. Also, I have heard nothing about an increase in the news, papers, etc. We get a cost of living increase every year, and that's probably all we'll ever get.

I say no also the cost of living increase is for folks that get a paycheck from working at a job
the increase for SS checks was at the begining of the year in Jan

jmho
they should've increased it more than 70 cents
