hello,
six months ago i fealt a lump in my breast so i saw my dr. He scheduled me for a mammogram and ultra sound. It turned out to be nothing but fatty tissue. They told me to come back every six months for two years so that they can get a feal for the unique make-up of my breasts. Anyway....my six month follow up has come and now i am worried all over again. I havnt fealt any new lumps..but i am just the worrying type i geuss. What are the chances that cancer has formed in 6 months?
Thanks in advance!

The chances that cancer has formed in 6mths is highly unlikely. From what I understand, most breast cancers have been growing 2-8yrs before they are discovered. Also remember 80% of breast lumps are benign.

Try not to worry. - Your Dr. is taking a proactive approach and that is a good thing. Here's hoping this mammo and future ones, show no problems.

Best wishes,
Leea
