I am only 21 and I am so scared. I have made a lot of stupid mistake and descision in the past few months to year. I need support and help here. I think I might have herpes. I went in with a stupid little scare but I have had unprotected sex so I wanted to feel better. It turns out another person in a sense connected to me from the unprotected sex is also having a scare at the same exact time (but worse than me) I am waiting on result tomorrow (monday) after 3 p.m. they told me I could call in.

Tomorrow is going to be a long day at work.

I have a few questions, maybe you can help me. Any info, stories, or answers could help me out. I am scared and I have cried for the past 4 days while I await my results.

can i have childern still if i am diagnosed with herpes?

does sex become a burden or not as much fun because of the worry and all the extra work that needs to be done to have it?

Yes you can still have children, get married and have great sex with herpes.

You should always tell new partners that you have herpes before you have sex with them. In general if you're not having an OB chances of infecting your partner are low but they need to know the risk. Plenty of people have kept their partners herpes free for many years...mostly by just avoiding sex when having an outbreak.

If you do have it, research it until you know the facts. If you don't have it, you should know the facts too.
