Hi!

In the beginning of the summer I got pink eye, or so I thought. I got it in my right eye, I went to the doctor who gave me antibiodics that didn't work. I used another kind and it went away. Since then i've had pink eye 5 times. I've gotten it from 2 weeks to a month apart. I woke up again this morning with major puss in my left eye but no real redness and some in puss in my right. Since the first time I had the pink eye i've had excess puss in both eyes (my pink eyey would switch eyes on me) when I wake up in the morning. Any thoughts? Oh and since I got it the first time my eyes have seemed really blood shot all the time.

What was the first antibiotic you were on that didn't work? And the one that did work?

I wouldn't think it's pink eye, unless it's viral or bacterial, since it's gone on this long. I would get a second opinion.

sometimes allergies can cause someone to wake up with mucus in their eyes and crust on the lashes. what color is it?

The med's i'm using right now are Gentamicin Sulfate and Ophthalmic Solutnion USP? It seems to be working except this time i have it my eyes don't even behave like I have pink eye. They are both red but not to extreme and it's more of a blood vessel red than pink eye red. And I wake up in the middle of the night with them really dry but they have a ton of puss in them that is yellowish.
