Would meds such as Epilum & Lamactil have an effect on a standard urine pregnacy test?

I am currently on Lamitcal. But, the last three times I was pregnant I was on Dilantin and Tegretol at different times. I never had any trouble with any of my pregnancy test.

Although, I wasn't on Lamitcal I can't really say for sure, but the medication I was on never caused any difficulty. When I was pregnant they had to lower my dosage so it wouldn't affect the baby.

Dilantin did cause a false negative pregnancy test with me- the pregnancy was the result of a rape, and I miscarried at about 8-10 weeks (best outcome, but still sad). The test was also done very soon after the attack, so I'm not sure how much that effected the test.
