The doctor wants me to take tiazac for fast and irrg beats.i get for no reason it seems like,and never been told what they are.i was wondering if anyone takes this and do they have side effects like flushing or fast beat after taking it?thanks

It is a calcium channel blocker (generic is diltiazem.) The major side effect will be lowered blood pressure. Some people may get edema of the ankles.
Michaellabibat on the High Blood Pressure Forum takes it and seems to like it a lot.
