Hey all new to the board. Well I have been sufferig from floaters since the age of 13. But recently I have encountered a new problem. For about a week my right eye feels as If I have welders flash. The thing is I have not looked at any welds. It was really bad one day, almost like a pinple on my eye lid. Now it isn't so painfull just anoying, I notice it the most when I'm going to bed at night!

I will be going to see my eye doctor if this persists, butjust looking for answers as to what it might be!

Thanks
Kyle!

Do you mean you see flashes of light? I think you should call your Dr. and go see him/her right away. Better safe than sorry. Flashes of light and pain is not a good combination. Better to go in and find out is nothing then to wait and have it get worse.

Seriously, I'm not trying to scare you, but you only get one set of eyes. GO NOW.

HEy the pain seems to have dissipated and is practically gone, it only comes for a few minutes and goes away, and only once in a while. I dont see any flashes, just the normal floaters and bright spots.

Does anyone know what the pain could have been!

C ya!
