hi,

im 15, and i live in toronto. my allergy test is next week. i have really really bad nose allergies and it drives me crazy. It only occurs in the summer. My mind is always on my nose and it bothers me so much. I want to get a job but, if I have to blow my nose every minute its going to be very annoying and I wont be on task as much.

I told my parents i want to get claritin, but my parents are against it. they want me to find an "organic" allergy relief. Someone please help me.

Well, you can't be on antihistaimines for several days before your test. So I would wait and see what the test shows. The doctor will handle talking with your parents about treatments. In the meantime, a saline spray may help. You can buy it at any pharmacy.

You can not do anti-histamines.. but you can use ponaris nasal oil and saline nasal sprays to help in the meantime. SImply saline is my preferred saline nasal spray.. minimum of four times a day to help with rinsing out the allergens. Ponaris oil is over the counter and sometimes needs to be ordered. Use it morning and night.

Sincerely,
MG
