View Full Version : constant Burning, Watering Eyes!

I don't now if this is an allergy or not, but nearly every day I have to battle with painful burning, tearing eyes. I'll be fine one moment and then suddenly my eyes will burn and tears will run down my face. It's especially scary when driving, because it hurts so much I can't keep the effected eye (or both eyes) open! And it's embarrassing in public places because it looks like I'm crying. This happens in all seasons, even winter. I've tried pills like Claritin with so-so results. The only thing that seems to work is flushing my eyes with cold water or holding a cold, wet cloth to them until the stinging subsides.

Anyone else have this problem? What products do you recommend?

Sounds like an allergy. Patenol (PRN) Eye drops and an anti-histamine will probably help you greatly.

Sincerely,
MG

I have the same problem and I am going to the dr. today to ask for Zytec or Allegra and Patenol.

I have high hopes!

Just wanted to say thanks for supplying this information. I just thought I had to live with the itchy eyes and black circles.
