Hi all getting ready to take milk thistle just ordered it how much should i be taking daily i have had fatty liver for over 10 yrs. thanks mike

Hi Mike - I take 200mg 3 times a day now for the past two weeks. No side affects of any kind. My doctor is also fine with it. Eric

Mike, I was wondering why you're going to take Milk Thistle? Has your fatty liver gotten worse? Do you have simple fatty liver or is there any damage?

First off, you must make sure you are taking standardizedmilk thistle, take it three times a day, I take a product called Siliphos, it has the active ingredient in Milk Thistle and it lasts 12 hours. Also dandelion is good for cleaning out the liver, as is a substance called TMG. I have Hep c and was on interferon for 2 hellish years, it didnt help but after starting natural programs my viral load is down and my liver function tests are more normal.
