LAgirl81 08-02-2007, 02:35 AM Hi k! :) Sorry to hear about your heavy period post-LEEP...ick! You know, I do remember reading several times about your first period after a LEEP being very heavy, heavier than usual. I'm not sure what that entails exactly, but maybe you should call your doc and ask her just for your peace of mind. I think as long as you're not hemmorhaging large amounts of blood then it should be ok, but maybe call your doctor anyway. On the upside, having your period means you don't have cervical stenosis! :) Hopefully things continue to heal for you down there and take care! smith77 08-02-2007, 04:45 AM Oh god I blead so much I ended up flooding my bed with blood then passing out in the toilet. I was passing huge clots too and felt to sick as I was petrified. I ended up going to a+E just to be told its normal to have a very heavy period after LEEP and as long as it doenst continue more than 4 days then its ok! Mine was literally so bad I didnt leave the house for two days.....so dont worry you are not alone x k2626 08-02-2007, 01:46 PM LA-that is a good point, I did not think about that in terms of being happy I am bleeding and no complications. I am glad this is considered normal, I was starting to panic. I figured it could not be good to lose so much blood! Oh the ongoing joys of dealing with dysplasia! |
