Has anyone had this diagnostic test? If so could you describe it to me. Does it hurt? I have to have one next month. Thanks in advance.

I have had this done twice. It is a transvaginal ultrasound at leat mine was. But the doc will go in and with like a needle or iv and fill the uterus with saline to be able to look around for polyps and such. It isn't the most painful thing I have ever had done but you do feel it. Take a couple of advil before you go. It doesn't take long. It feels sort of like getting blood drawn combined with cramps! The joys of being a woman!

You know, I just realized that I had it done a few years ago. It was so uneventful that I forgot about it! As I recall now, the person who did it was very gentle and it wasn't bad at all.
