Ok, I have had it up to ^ here with those disgusting things... I had one removed a decade ago that was huge... the size of my thumb... ugh.
Now I have what seems to be dozens of tiny little ones on my neck on both sides... they have been there for a few years and normally they don't bother me that much but a few of them have gotten a little larger and (nasty as this sounds) sometimes they become 'tangled' in my hair or a necklace.
Anyone have any home remedies for these things or do I have to bite the bullet and let the Doc have a go at them. (can just picture him with a lil weed wacher or something)

I looked up some home remedies a while ago, for these nasty things, and i found this.
"Removal of skin tags can be painlessly done with a pair of toenail clippers. Just sterilize the area around the skin tag and the clippers with rubbing alcohol and very slowly squeeze the skin tag with the clippers positioned near the skin. If done slowly enough, the nerve in the skin tag will die, due to the blood supply being cut off, and you won’t feel anything when it’s cut off. I suggest using an anti-biotic cream afterwards, to prevent any infections. I tried this on a couple large skin tags and had no problems."
It doesn't sound too appealing,
but, the nut I am tried it on a small one above my eyebrow, and it worked!
There is just a tiny scar where it used to be, but you can get scar cream anywhere!
I've also heard that putting vaseline over your skin tags, and then putting a band-aid on them for about a week, (with changing the vaseline/bandages, of course) "kills" them, because they need oxygen, and they fall right off! :)
These are just some suggestions!
Good luck!

this may sound gross, but this is how i handle those nasty little things.....when they are SMALL, i simply twist them off....hurts just a little, but it keeps them from growing larger and needing a doctor to take them off. be advised that they can bleed for a little while, but this is the cheapest and easiest way to take care of them... at least for me...

I've had just a couple of these in the past, and I got rid of them with a nail clipper. They didn't come back and I had no scar. Hope it works for you. Just be careful to be clean about it, like "unfortunate" said, so you don't get it infected.
Blessings,
Emily

Check your blood fats. They may be high.
