Hello....Hello..Anyone here? Let's Talk. I've had a good and bad week. My so was Baptised last Sunday, Had a great party at home afterwards. My husband and I had a great time too. What, enjoy your own party! Unheard of. Well My husband has had increasing pain for 3-4- mos. So I set it up myself. It was simple. I used the door covers. The dollar ones that are either silveror green and red and silver. Snow flakes. Balloons and all of our angle w/baby, child or just angles. All the plates , cutlery all was white set on a silver bed. I went to Costco iy's like a B.J's. I got the ready to feed the troops food. Just take off the lid and it's on a tray and ready to go. Yes, I still had to set up but, fast. It took me 6 hour to set up in total. My body fought me all the was but, this is for my baby and nothing will stop me. Well, if you read my other post I tell anoyher part of my week. By the way, dddoes anyone fall up the stairs? I do and did this week, that hurt's. Why do we do that? Take care, Kim

Glad you had a good party. How old is your baby? My kids are all grown and gone except the last one. She is 14. I don't know about you, but when I'm in alot of pain or very tired, I find it hard to pick my feet up when I walk. That's why I fall. My knees are scared and have a rug burn healing from the latest. I use a cane when I go out, and it helps some. I sure wish some others would come on over to this board. It's a little spooky and deserted here!

It's down right deserted. We have five boys. 23 yrs. almost 20, 19, 17 and just turned 2 yrs. It's not too easy, at first to use this board. Today I did almost nothing. My body said it's too much and save what energy you can for Thanksgiving. take care and thanks for answering, Kim

Dont worry you are not alone my sister and I both fall UP the stairs as well as tripping over nothing...We tease each other when this happens by saying things like... Did that floor just jump up and trip you? or I just tripped over that fuzzie on the carpet you really should vacuum...We try to keep the humor.

Thank you for answering. I have bruises all over and never remember where I got them. Today is really bad my neck and right shoulder are not working the way I'm telling them to and today is that dreaded second day of the cycle. I have to push and get ready for Thankgiving. Every one here, oh well, tomorrow is another day and it can wait. Take care, Kim

Hi Kim
I too am having everyone here for Thanksgiving and my sister will do
Christmas Eve. I am sorry you are feeling bad today. I am very behind on the preparations for Thanksgiving because I have been back and forth to the ER and DR with this UTI infection that may have included a few stones. My ultrasound is Friday. That really cuts into a perfectly good shopping day :-) I am making lists this morning of everything I need to get and do. If I dont write it down.....well you know what happens Luv Scoobs

If I write it down, then I forget to read it. Well, I'm off to the doctors. Take care, Kim

Hi Kim,
Well, I'm here....sort of, and only very briefly.
My computer did a MAJOR crash last Wednesday (just in time for a presentation I had to do on Saturday, and ALL my info was on the computer! OF COURSE!).
Anyhoo, getting on line is difficult....I'm using the one at the local school office right now. And, I can only use it for brief periods. Amazing, I'm totally hooked, I guess, 'cuz I've sure been feeling deprived without it!
So, I just wanted to come on long enough to say Hi to everyone, and wish you all a happy turkey day!
Hugs,
Copper

Hi everybody! I haven't had the energy to check out the boards for a while, and WOW,look at all the posts. I hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving. Our family went out for buffet. I used to cook, but can't quite manage anymore. I miss it. Sorry to hear about your problems, Scooby. Hope things aren't as bad as it sounds. Stones really are painful, but with the new lasar stuff now, it's not as bad to get rid of them. Kim, I hope you are feeling better too. Any more trips up the steps??? Hope not. I seem to be staying on my feet lately. I always worry about falling in public. So far, I've only done it at home. Well, guess I'll move along and see what everyone has been talking about while I've been away. Love ya! LINDA

I am replying to the bit about falling upstairs. I do that. I thought I was the only one. I don't understand it myself, but I have to be very carefull walking up stairs. I am not sure if it has anything to do with equilibrium or what, but it can be embarassing and it really hurts. I wonder if there is a medical term for it.

Geez Kim you did it again already?
You already had your turn this month? Just kidding :-) But seriously,
I notice I do it more when my legs are tired. Sorry you have been having such a tough time of it. We have to all jump out of our post Thanksgiving down time so we can gear ourselves up for the Big One. I figure the Christmas New Years holiday to be a month recooperation.:-)
