I was doing very well for the past two months. My reflux was almost non-existant. My stomach didn't hurt at all, things were very good. I had eliminated only the following and felt that this had fixed me up. Removed milk, greasy fatty food & all foods that contained High Fructose Corn Syrup along with potatoes which really seem to cause problems. I felt really good. Went on vacation feeling really good and had a blowout time. I mean I ate what I wanted and drank alcohol every night(alot). Well guess what came back? Anyway I'm back to my original diet and will let you know how long it takes to go back to normal. I also lifted the head of my bed again, which I didn't need to do for awhile.

Sad thing is I had 2 months of none or almost no reflux at all. Then I went on a two week binge of doing whatever I wanted, eating whatever I wanted, even late at night and it brought it back. It seems that you have to go about 6 months without the reflux before you can actually be cured (just a guess from people who have had it and got rid of it, I also had it and got rid of it 15 years ago). So I'll go back to my eating right, putting bed up high, no eating after 7:30 blah blah blah and in a few weeks I'll be much better and in a month it will be 99% gone and this time I'll see if I can eat well for a longer period of time before it's party time.
