View Full Version : Is this normal???

About two weeks ago I was a tad constipated and then had a hemmorhoid (sp??). Having the hemmorhoid made having a bowel movement worse because I didn't want to see the blood on the stool, in the toilet, or on the toilet paper. It made me nervous even though I new that it was nothing serious (I talked to my dr.). The blood only lasted about a day. Anyway, for the next week I was consipated and added more fiber in the diet by taking Fiber Choice with lunch. Well, for the past few days my stools have been really normal. I know that is a good thing and I shouldn't be worried. A normal bowel movement for me if like once or twice a day every other day to every two days. After starting the fiber I have been having a bowel movement at least once everyday. Sometimes I don't feel like my bowel is completly empty and that feeling comes about an hour or two after my bowel movement. Again, my stools look normal. Is it the fiber that is causing my increased bowel movements? I was just curious because I am not used to having to go everday.
