I have been dating a man for the last seven years that I believe is B/P. I am not a health professional so of course I cannot make any diagnosis. However, I have done lots of research on the symptoms of B/P and he has them all. My concern is that he also drinks a lot; vodka mostly. He can be loving at times but mostly he is not. He also gets very angry at me when I bring up his drinking. How can I approach him with getting some professional help. My loving him seems to just put more pressure on him. Is that normal? I believe he knows something is not right and I really want to help. Thank you for any suggestions. I really love this man and want to help him even if that means I need to back off.

Thank you,

M
