hello there, sorry my 1st post is actually asking for advice but i havea dr's appointment on friday and im just wondering if anyone has any possible idea as weather i have to expect the worst or not....

basicaly i have had a gland on my neck on the left side for as long as i can remember, recently it has gone bigger it is quite solid, doesnt hurt...

just above where that gland is there was a spot... possibly a boil, thats been tehre for about 2 months+, it shrunk a bit then went back up... when i touch it, it weeps liquid...

a bit below the gland is a harder lump, its actually right underneath the skin and feels like a hard dried up pea, its about that sze too but its attached to the inside of the neck

i also have scabbing in my nose, it started off with having some kind of boil which hurt there but now theres just bits of scabbing...

another few things i have includes, a bit of a pain in heart some of the time... tiredness, even after plenty of sleep (including bags under eyes), sometimes i get a pain around my stomach area (when i lie down sometimes theres a ermm... twisting sensation in my left side), and sometimes im close to dozing off when i get a really sick feeling and the only way to stop that is to sit up for a split second then it goes away.

dont know if these things are all linked but would be good to know what i could be expecting... i am a smoker (now 21, been smoking since i was about 15), i havent excersised in years, i eat quite unhealthy and i drink alcohol every week (on average about 12 cans worth of beer a week)

it would be good if anyone had an ideas because then i could tell the dr that as its more than likely that when im actually there i will fprget half the problems i have experienced

thanks

Sparkz,

From what I have observed in the past, your body is in revolt

The description you give of your symptoms is not medically accurate, but I'm sure a medical expert could diagnose what is actually going on.

I don't believe the answer to your problems is to be found in drugs that may mask the symptoms you're experiencing, but proper nutrition, purging toxins, reducing stress, and avoiding close proximity to electromagnetic radiation sources.

If you live within 1,000 feet off a cellular telephone system site, or antenna, you might want to move. You may also want to purchase a water filter. One of the best ways to purge systemic toxins from the body is coffee enemas, administered daily.

I can't get into how to do a coffee enema, and I can't lead you to any sources on how to do one. I can tell you that physicians other than medical doctors, or osteopaths can instruct you competently in how to cleanse your body.

Most people make poor physicians for themselves. It is best to start with a professional whose goal it is to teach you how to attain and maintain good health.

Hi there, Although I'm not a dr or nurse but I've been doing a lot of research on lymph node swelling because I have a large one on my neck. It sounds like you have a boil that is draining and your lymph nodes are fighting the infection. That's what they should be doing. You are doing the right thing by seeing the doctor. Maybe you need to take some antibiotics.

Try to make some changes to live a healthier life and I'm sure you'll start feeling better. Good luck and let us know how your appointment goes on Friday.

thanks for your excellent reply lucy....

actually has made me think... that would really make sense.... i just remembered i read something on "lymph node" a while back which did say something about the gland swelling and this could actually be a fact thats its swelling to try and fight the infection on the boil...

i will say to the dr about this on friday because it does seem like the most likely problem...

really hoping my healthy lifestyle will start happening after friday because going to find out what the dr thinks i should do to make myself healthier (probo giving up smoking, more excersise, the usual, which im happy to do)

thanks again for your reply lucy because it really does seem like a logical answer, obviously the dr will have to confirm this but its put my mind a rest a bit...

will let you know how it goes

:D

hey, nack from mdr's, it was what lucy said, the spot that was the problem for the gland to be swelled up was an acne blackhead/boil type thing...

shud take 6 months to clear...

now to swtart my healthy lifestyle as well
