I had mentioned under another topic that November is my absolute worst month of the year. This sparked something with Charlie Weaver who said also November is bad for her as well. Could it be weather related??

I have never had a remission so I don't think I really have a better or worse month. I do know weather has a big impact on my pain factors, but no matter how nice it is outside, the pain is still there to some degree. We just had a huge blizzard which ended yesterday morning...that was a very painful time even on Monday before it started snowing. We are suppose to get another storm today, and I can feel it already.

You know, I don't know what my worse month is either. It seems to be a whirlwind that never stops. In the warm months, I over do yardwork and gardening 'cause I think I can handle it, but I can't. In the cold ones, I over do inside work. My symptoms don't seem to care what month it is! You know, I also can't tell that cold and snow and rain increase my pain, when a lot of people can.

Hi All, I do notice a difference when the weather starts to get really cold with some of my symtoms. But, I can't take it too hot either. I can't breath when it's too hot and have to live in the air condition house, car etc. But, then it's weird because a few hot days I can garden, go figure that one. I am from Canada and use to love the dry cold. I was very athletic, until in gymnastics when I broke my sternum and cracked my fourth vertabry, Had mono and tonsiles and wisdom teeth out, raped, stalked, first love killed I was 16 when this all started and much more as the ones who know my history already know. I had a horrible 1 and a half years. Well, that had nothing to do with the weather. But i think extreams in the weather do affect me and also I feel the changes, like rain and snow. I just keep on pushing myself to do, I guess that kids force me to. That irresistable instinct to do for your kids what you can't for yourself. Take care, Kim

For a while fall/winter months were my worst. Now all months are about the same. Heat and humidity bother me now just a much as cold. There is no day when I don't hurt, but some days are worse than others. I know stress makes mine flair, but sometimes it just happens for no apparent reason. I am fighting one(flair) right now. Just got over one. ...Linda D

Worst time of year is from Thanksgiving to New Years. I figured out it happens as a result of two things. Too much of the wrong foods and too much sitting at relatives houses, parties, gatherings, travel, shopping, wrapping presents for hours, so on. It's difficult to control food when someone else is serving it, and you don't want to hurt feelings. There's also the weather which is also a factor it seems at times. Summer is tough because of the heat, I have very little tolerance and develop heat exhaustion in less than 20 minutes, but pain is worse this time of year.
