Hello!

I have just suscribed. My name is Lilian, and I live in Uruguay, South America.

A friend of mine has fibromyalgia. Today the doctor told her that she can't take any drugs because of a problem with her liver.

Do any of you know of natural drugs that could be helpful?

I will be checking this site every night and looking at old messages with interesting information. This is quite new for us.

Welcome Lilan, accupuncher, hypnotism and and if she can cortsone injections. Meditation, chiropractor, massage, Boy, this isn't easy for your friend. I'm sure you will get a lot more info. But, be careful natural drugs do have some side effects. Make sure they check with there doctor before starting any meds. Good luck and again welcome to our world, Kim

Be careful with even natural herbs a lot of those still may me excreted though the liver.

Hi, Kim. It's "Methylsulfonylmethane" (?)
It's like a nutritional supplement, it seems, and it's good for pain and inflamation, among other things. That's what I've read, and Cynthia says it may be effective.

I'm learning a lot!

My friend (Graciela) became quiet desperate when the doctor told her she can't take regular drugs. I'll tell her about MSM; maybe the doctor will be able to tell whether it will affect her liver or not. I hope not. I also got her St. John from Brazil. If you know of any other natural things she can take, let me know.
