My little 3.5 week old will get into bouts of vomitting, where she projectile vomits. Yesterday was one of those days. She couldn't keep anything down. She has already been placed on Axid for acid reflux as she had a bout of this about 2 weeks ago. Today seems better, has anyone else had this issue?

DS is now 8 wks and he goes thru that as well....our Ped put him on Zantac and it only seems to help about half the time. We have another appt Thursday. Yesterday was our spitty day...I dont have any words of wisdom - just know you're not alone!! Good luck. :wave:

Both of my kids are pukers. Ds didn't stop until 13 months and dd is going on 9 months. My dd is currently on axid and she has been for about 6 months. It doesn't make her stop spitting up, but it does make her more comfortable. I notice that each time I try to wean her off of it, her vomit smells much more sour and she is more fussy.

Have you checked her for a milk allergy?

We have not had her checked yet, but I think we may ask to have her checked at her next appointment. My wife is lactose intolerant and has to be on daily meds for it... I am not sure if that is affecting the baby or not.

My little girl has that too. I noticed everyone has meds for it. What does your docs say about the projectile vomitting I thought it was normal so I haven't had her checked..
