I could not help but notice several of you have mentioned you do not go too far from home. Is it because of physical reasons or anxiety? The only problem I have with taking long car rides is that I have no way of predicting when the IBS is going to act up.

Scoobs,
The reason I don't travel too far from home is because to sit in one position for more than 20-30 minutes the feet and legs will get tingly and numb or else my body will just ache. I hate going into Baltimore via Russell Street. I don't think it has been repaved since the road was built, and I know every bump in the road. Also I do have a problem with IBS, and you never know when it is going to strike. It's hit me while at work, at friend's houses and a couple of times while I was out shopping. The sad thing is is that you don't even have time to react. At least I know I don't. The pain hits my stomach and in the next minute it is too late to be heading to the bathroom. I feel like I need to keep an inflatable toilet in my purse. Who am I kidding I wouldn't even have time to get it inflated.

Have you seen the new van that has a washer/dry and tolet in it? Maybe we should all get one. I love your sence of humor. Love, Kim

My sister has FMS and she is buying a RV for road trips. #1 the pottie #2 she needs to be able to get up and stretch her legs.
