im caz and im 21 and found out today i got herpes. is there anything that can stop them from coming or for them to stay away forever????. any remedys, treatments. anything! just want rid. guess we all do! first break out. absolutely devastated.

Well, caz, to a large degree, you can control your ob's but it takes determination and a willingness to adjust certain aspects of your life. Are you taking any prescription meds to supress your ob's? There are other things you can take, mainly to boost your immune system. I take Neem leaf extract capsules and a multivitamin daily. Some people swear by L-lysine supplements. Whatever you decide to try, do it safely. Don't go off the deep end and end up doing more harm than good. The main thing is to take care of yourself physically and emotionally. Stress is a major ob trigger for most people, so try to maintain a healthy and positive attitude. Tough right now, maybe, but it gets easier as you adjust to this new intruder in your life. This virus is a keeper. It's going to be your companion for a very long time because as of now, there is no cure. That doesn't mean it has to control you or your life. It's a virus. Nothing more. thanks for your reply! absolutely devastated to get it. if i have intercourse with my fella when the OB is gone....will he be okay? i kinda expected him to leave me over this but it doesnt seem to bother him watso eva. this was caught either by a one night stand with this lad i didnt know much or by myself coz i had 2 cold sores in the past 2 month on ma mouth. i was always careful tho. my new fella has had intercourse 2 and half year ago so he hasnt gave me it. he got nothing on him at all.
