i posted a message a long while back about incontrollable gas. and this isn't as subtle as it may sound. I used to experience gas without hearing anything, contracting anything..it just came..at work, with friends..at church. it was very bad. i experienced a wet/moist anus all the time it was always wet (clear).
i am a little pleased right now because i don't seem to have that problem anymore and my symptons aren't as strong as they used to be. they are still pretty bad but in comparison to the past they are better.
I have been drinking lots of chlorophyll, taking charcoal tablets, asidophilous and this may be the reason. i've been to a bunch of doctors and they're all robots who say the exact same thing "u are fine..there might be no smell..you are probably imagining it..would you like to try some prozaK?" whats makes the matter worse is that i have had a lot of tests done (gastroscopy, x rays, blood work, stool test ETC) and they don't show that anything is seriously wrong which baffles me the most. i mean i get the smell, ppl have smelt it, but it seems to be non existent at home which makes it hard to convince family members that the problem is extrememly serious. my social life has been trememdously impacted because of it and it hurts.
anyway, the problem is that i still get odur problems. they are very and i mean very inconsistent. i don't know when they will be present whatsoever. the problem is that i don't get your typical gassy smell but rather the smell of food i recently ate. For example, I will have some salmon at my sisters for dinner and the next day I'm in my room playing the guitar (this could be after a shower it doesn't matter) and all of a sudden i'm smelling fish around me. Or i'm playing a basketball game at the park with a bunch of guys and all of a sudden u can smell some macaroni salad in the air that i've had a few nights before.
i'm sure there are ppl out there who can relate. what i am very concerned about is that i keep hearing suggestions in threads how to alleviate the problem but i haven't read one where someone has been 100% treated of the disorder. i really don't get it. i was fine all my life then 4 years ago this thing came and its still with me.
the most recent developments on my health are that my cortisol levels are very high and i'm getting that checked out. that is an area of concern but i highly doubt it relates to this gastrointestinal problem
input is always appreciated and thanks for your time
