Hello,

I am a 17 year old female and I am soon leaving for college. I went in to get a meningitis vaccine and my doctor recommended gardasil as well, so I got my first dose of the HPV vaccine today.

My question is, I have had one sexual partner and we had sex two times. We were both virgins prior. Is it possible I have a strain of HPV even though neither of us have had other partners? He is the only one I've had sexual contact with.
