i am in soo much pain cus of my swelling and my joints i am scared to ask for pain meds though i am so young and my kidneys are already messed up should i even ask my doctors? nothing is helping my pain not rest or over the counter meds

Absolutely you should ask for medication for your pain. People who have illnesses that cause pain, should take medication for their pain.

Look at it this way...

If you have diabetes, you take insulin. If you have ulcers, or acid reflux, you take prevacid, or one of the other many digestive medicines..... etc...

Wise doctors understand this. I pray that you get relief from your pain, and all other symptoms.

thanks. i have said sumthing but all they tell me is to try and deal with it i guess they are waiting for me to get to the point of tears but i will be ok. it is mangable for now
