HI everyone,
I am trying to figure out the most appropriate forum to post this question, since Shingles is both skin and neurological. (and also called HERPES ZOSTER). I am 51 and had Shingles a year and half ago. I had to take 2 Medrol Dosepaks, which are oral steroids, in July (last month) for a neck problem. I know taking steroids makes your immune system weaker and also makes you very suseptible to getting infections. Lo and behold about 2 weeks ago I noticed 2 bumps on my stomach that was on the same side and I think the exact location of my original Shingles site. Can a person get just 2 Shingle bumps? I know this sounds really odd, but the only residual thing I got from the last bout of Shingles was my left breast has itched ever since. I am thinking that is a mild form of some post-herpetic neuralgia from the Shingles. So, do you think this is Shingles again? I hope I am not one of those people who are going to have chronic Shingles. Thanks for the help.
Sue
