Hi, I am hoping someone here can tell me the symptoms of an eye infection? Or help me figure out what is going on please. My left eye is tired all the time, and I have what is a lot like the visual snow on the left side of my vision. My eye burns and is watery a lot. I had this "visual snow" a couple of years ago after playing a lot of video games, and went to an eye doctor who checked me out and said I was ok. He said he doubted the video games had anything to do with my eye problems. I have very bad vision, and my left is worse than my right. This is driving me crazy so any response is much appreciated. Likely what you are experiencing is just eye strain. This 'visual snow' you descibe sounds like what are called floaters in your field of vision. In most cases as long as you aren't experiencing these floaters acutely, they are considered normal. To be sure, a dilated eye exam is necessary. If the doctor you saw didn't dilate you, find one that will.
