Hi,

My father was operated like 5 months ago for Ratina detachment surgery that didnt go to well so than in the next surgery silicon oil was injucted in his eye and that ratina was back on its place but vision was not retained and 2 month ago another surgery and lens was placed in his eye.

But his vision was still not fully recovered all he was seeing very blury from this left eye than another surgery this time they removed silicon oil and i dont know what went wrong but his whole eye was filled in by blood and now doctor says sadly the surgery went bad and we have to wait for this blood in his eye to clear and he is in extreme pain they cant do another surgery because they said the eye may die.

They have given him steroids to clear this blood and so many of them that now he cant eat anything because his whole digestive system is not working bcoz of reaction of these tablets and now not only his eye he cant even move because of weakness hes eating these tablets from 2 weeks.

I dont know what to do :(

Please help.

Sit and wait until the blood clears. I don't know what we're going to tell you that will do you any good. Hope and pray is my only advice.

Geez, steroids aren't supposed to do that. Could you talk to his doctor about his reaction to them, maybe switching from tablets to injections or eye drops?
