Hi

Just wondering if anyone would know the answer to this,
During my colposcopy on tuesday the doctor said she had found the area with abnormal cells but it was a really small area, she did biopsy anyway to be safe, but am I right in thinkin that the larger the area with abnormal cells the bigger the risk? Or am I wrong?
I am sittin here thinkin that biopsy will come back fine and nothing worng as only small area was abnormal?

Thanks.

You doctor would not know from looking if in fact the cells were abnormal by simply looking at an area (pathology has to look at the cells) but they can detect if the area looks cancerous.
In your case it sounds to me like you do not have anything to worry about, and if it is something there it is caught in plenty of time. A leep should take care of it.

You will be just fine! Let us know what the results are :)
