I get such cramps from most dairy- even w/ lactate pills-
tried organic yogurt ( plain - no sugar)- not great. So- has anyone tried Activia?
Would really appreciate some feedback.

Hi, sorry to hear about your problem!
I also get incredible stomach cramps from yogurt so I try avoid it all together.
My mom has tried Activia and she said that it was great. It didnt give her any kind of cramps and it made her regular. She said that i should deffinatly try it but I have not got round to it yet. Maybe give it a try, it could upset your stomach initally but once it gets to work, it could do wonders. Unfortunatly im new at all this so its trial and error at the moment.
Sorry I couldnt be of more assistance.
Get well soon!

I am under lots of stress and having anxiety attacks lately that really messed up my system. I had tried different things but nothing worked. My mother kept telling me to try Activa but I thought it would be just like yogurt which wasn't helping. Finally I gave in and within a couple of days I am more regular than I have been in a long time. But I don't have trouble with dairy so I don't know about that part of it.

i've been using it for about 2 weeks or a little over and it has really helped. i was having a lot of trouble with anxiety that was interrupting my bathroom time;) so my mom swears by it and i gave it a whirl. it's definitely helped me with regularity. don't know about people with dairy sensitivity though:confused: good luck, and the blueberry and strawberry are awesome!

Hi Redsands,
Noticed your post and hope your V. is clear, as mine is, thank the POWERS THAT BE!!!!.

My new problem is intestinal. Came back from a three week trip, eating out in some iffy 'joints' and suddenly had dys.symptoms. Still feeling effects, so I'm reading the boards to try to figure it out. Trying to avoid going to the doc and getting antibiotics.

Yes, I've tried Activia. It is delicious, especially peach flavor with half a cut peach stirred in, and some all=bran buds for crunch texture on top. Doesn't seem to help my ibs and constip. though. But didn't create any problems. Very filling. Now that I'm back, I am going for more. Maybe even the Kefir and probiotic/lactobacillus acidophilus route.

Hope you are successful. C.Cat

Floragen 3 is a drug that most formulary pharmacies can make for you is good for that. It has 10 times the good flora in it that activia does, and so far it is working for me. I don't know where you are from, but here in IN, there are a few places that sell it. Hope this helps.

Michelle
