A couple years ago, I experience pressure in my head after becoming very worried I had a concussion from a mild car accident. I got a CAT scan done and they said everything was fine and gave me muscle relaxers. It completely went away then a year later or so, I noticed the pressure in my head again and kind of a stuffed up feeling, so I went to the doc and they said it was allergies and prescribed Flonase. It went away again and I was doing great until late May this year- I started having the same pressure, feeling stuffed up in my nose. Went to my allergist, got tested, and he decided I have non-allergic rhinitis (sinuses inflamed, nasal membranes swollen) and said to stay on Flonase and take decongestants- well they don't work that great. He said things like weather changes and stress can cause this. Do you think anxiety (which I have every day and take Lorazepam for a couple times a day now) could cause my rhinitis/pressure? I notice I usually feel fine if I am relaxed at night (after Lorazepam) and if I have sex. Not sure if I should start Lexapro for anxiety and see if it helps, but it's been recommended to me many times.

I have no idea, for I have no knowledge in regards to your problem. But the only thing I could suggest is to try the Lexapro. It's not addictive and easy to ween off of. Might as well try it :)

Good luck.
