Ok, so I was diagnosed with HPV about 3 months ago. I am so confused about it, the doctor didnt even help me at all. I left his office after he told me he would write a prescription for the bump I had found in my vaginal region. I called his office after the embarrassment wore off and they sent me some pamplets on HPV. Can some one please answer my questions!??!?!?!
Is HPV the same as Herpes? PLEASE! thank you!

No it is not. The bumps caused by herpes simplex virus are differnet than the ones caused by HPV. There are no curs, but there are medical treatment options such as freezing them, removing, or putting some balm on it. First step to do, is increase your immune system.
The most serious problem when you have HPV is the increased risk of cervical Dysplasia in your cervix (by the high risk strain). Get a PAP and/or coplo imediatly to check the status of your cervix nad see if any precancerous cells are developing in you.
