My father was diagnosed yesterday with t-pll leukemia which is apparently a very rare form of chronic leukemia. I have been reading everything I can find on the internet regarding this disease and its treatment. It seems that Campath is the way to go which is what his doctor started him on yesterday. I understand that this is a very aggressive form of leukemia. He has been in excellent health his whole life. He just turned 70 in June and only found out about this from a routine blood test. We (his family) are taking a very positive approach and want him to know that he is in good hands and that this treatment is the best there is for his disease. Could any of you out there please let me know what your experiences with this particular disease and/or treatment have been? What can we expect? Any words of advice? I would greatly appreciate it!! Thank you ever so much.
