I've been on Nexium and Zantac for 2 weeks. A few days this week I really thought I was improving; the lump sensation wasn't quite as bad and the ear pain was much better. Then yesterday it all got worse again and this morning I am just miserable with post nasal drip and that awful feeling of something stuck in my throat and chest. I have eliminated my morning coffee and orange juice thinking maybe they were contributing to the problem. Is this one of those "one step forward, two steps back" kind of things? Very frustrating!

ive had gerds and lpr for one year...This is exactly what happens to me...and, I know that it isnt all food related with me. I can be watching my diet and I still get flare ups. I dont get it, but Im sick of it!

Same here. That's why I usually eat some things I shouldn't. Doesn't seem to matter. I have the PND, cough thing constantly. Don't have heartburn and never did. For me, activity makes my LPR worse. I love to work in my yard and know it's bad (bending and lifting) but I can't just perfectly still all day and I don't want to quit living my life. Please continue to post and let us know how you are. It makes me feel good for other people to get better!
