its coming up onto four months now that i was diagnosed with HSV2 BUT it was only diagnosed by sight. the place that i went to wasnt equipped to take the swab test but the doctor said she was pretty sure i had it. she gave me some meds and the blisters cleared up in a few days so by the time i got an appoitnment at an STD clinic they were gone so they couldnt do the swab test either. so i got tested for ever other STD and all of them were negative.
so my question is should i just trust that the doctor was right or is their another way to get tested besides swab test cause i havent had another OB since i was diagnosed 4 months ago.

A blood test. Four months should be long enough for antibodies to build up in your blood.
Good luck
Perhaps you've dodged the built!
