Well my dh and I are TTC. I had my last af on July 18th (I usually have 27-29 day cycles). That means I should have ovulated around August 1st. My dh and I had sex pretty much that whole week surrounding that date.
The problem is, I had breakthrough bleeding on the day I was supposed to ovulate. It only lasted one day.
Right now I am in the 2WW. A few times this past week I have felt nausous, but I don't know if it is all in my head. Other than that, I feel no symptoms.
Is it still possible for me to be pregnant, even though I was bleeding mid cycle?

yes it is still possible. Your breakthrough bleed could have been caused by ov, but it may just be one f thoses things.
my dates are exactly the same as yours. i ov, about the 30th july to 1st aug!
af is due week today (20th). for the last three days, i have been feeling awful, soooooo tired and just 'not me' if you see what i mean. I have also had really sharp stabbing pains on the right side of my belly. So im hoping these are early signs!
i sooooooo wish there was another way to find out earlier!!!!!!

I am asking the same question....first day of 28th...usually a short cycle for me around 23-25 days. First time off birth control...aug 3...i believe is the day...because on the 6th I had some cramping and on the 8th the tenderness in my breasts are unbearable. I have tingling in my nips...and the pain is horrible. I thought maybe it was me going off bc...but i am beginning to think otherwise. I have been natious...oh so natious since the 8th as well. My body is aching...if I am...didnt think this could happen so fast. I have an apt with my gyn for pap...gonna try to get her to do a blood test to see...How early can you feel symptoms...???

I agree with Kelbabe, this spotting could have been a direct result of the ovulation as the egg was being released..
I am in a similar situation as well.. I am due for af around August 18th/19th. Dh and I did not play it "safe" this past month and I have no idea when I ovulated. In July, I had my first af since my ectopic.
So, I am not getting my hopes up but it would definitely be a nice surprise if af did not show up this month!!

Well I have been really crampy today...like AF is coming! GRRR! If for some reason it doesn't start:angel: , I am going to hold off taking a test for awhile. When I got pregnant with my dd, I went to the doctor when I was 3 days late, and they did a urine test and it was a BFN. When I was 7 days late, I got a home test and it was a BFP. She is 16 months now. I got pregnant with her the very first time I tried, so I just thought the second time around would be as easy. I guess not!

I have an 18 month old dd. Yes! I got pregnant quickly with her as well--the same month we decided to ttc. Not as easy this time..I've had one early miscarriage and an ectopic all within a 5 months!

My DH and are were not playing it safe either this month. We are officially TTC after AF due around aug. 20th. last AF for July was July 18... I have cycles anywhere from 30-36 days. We BMS on Aug 3.. which would be day 16.. I took test today - which would be day 27.. and it was BFN.. can it be too early? If my cycle is days 30-36 and BMS on day 16, could I have gotten preg?

purplegirl1- yes you could have possibly gotten pregnant. You are testing too early though. I would almost guarentee that a test would not detect the pregnancy hormone this early.

unfortunatly, bc withdrawals are sooo like preg signs, i had them last month!! it was my first off bc, things feel really different this month though, so heres hoping!!
i have promised dh i will wait until af is late as i went on a bit of a frenzie last month!! (only a day or two though, as i am very impatiant!!) i have a digital test left so i will use that!!
.........although, i might try when im 10 dpo, as i always show a pos really early!! ;)

Well, I've still been cramping, but today is almost over and tomorrow will be day 28 (I usually start between day 27-29). I thought for sure I was going to start today, but I didn't (which is a great thing). I really don't want AF to come, but if she does, I hope that she comes tomorrow....so that I will be on a 28 day cycle (maybe making it easier for me to predict O).

Just an update....day 28 has come and is almost over. NO AF YET! Please keep your fingers super crossed for me that AF does not come tomorrow! I thought for sure she was coming today (i've had cramps, back aches, etc), but luckily she is out of sight for now (and hopefully for another year!)

Guess what? I GOT A BFP!!!!! I took a test this morning, and I'm really excited. I just can't believe it. It is sureal!
