Well, that kind of depends on symptoms, I suppose. I'm not real sure what diagnostic criteria is for "irritable bladder".

For bladder nourishment (so to speak) during acute infection calcium chelated to Krebs cycle members: citrate, malate, fumarate and succinate is indicated. Also, 3qts. or more water, and L. acidophilus or B bifidum (active yogurt) daily.

I have horrid bladder spasms along with most of the symptoms of an infection, but there is no bacteria overgrowth. So far I've tried the above with definite relief of all but the spasms. For that I take an antispasmodic medicine, specific to the bladder, and keep looking for an alternative (herb or such) that reduces the spasms significantly

didn't we discuss Krebs cycle members recently in relation to calcium and magnesium? I would suggest you have your levels checked out somehow, as these two things(cal/mag) seem to come up for you.
