calfs,sometimes muscles in arms (both),neck
also.tons of tests for arthritis, sed rate
good,lymes,muscle enzymes normal.ebv keeps
positive.has anyone had a electromyography
(e.m.g.)and if so,explain? do most get muscle
aches on both sides, that just go away as fast as they started, only to return again?

WOW your discription is so familier it sounds like I wrote it.
I can only answer for me but I would say yet that pretty much covers how my pain stars. One minute my legs are fine the next the back of my knees feel like I strained them some how. My thighs always hurt though.

There are some days that I will have the pain equally on both sides of my body, but there are other days, that the pain will just be on one side. I know when it first flared up it was on both sides of body, but lately it sort of migrates wherever it wants and really hurts. My left side is also my worse side.

Mr. Jay, my legs just ACCCHHHHHEEEE constantly, a steady droning pain, sometimes strong, sometimes mild. All my other pains are migratory, they float around from one area to the other.

I've had several EMG's done, all negative. The last one was inconclusive since I couldn't tolerate most of the test. The only positive test I've ever had was an MRI of my lower spine. I have degenerative disks with bulging which explains the years of back pain.
