Hi Jules, I am a 4yr survivor...I have really changed my eating habits! I have added alot more fruits and veggies, I dont eat any white foods..rice, breads etc, and I choose not to eat meat..only organic chicken and turkey for me!
I have read alot of info that says that if you are going to try to eat organic foods and money is an issue, you should spent your money on buying organic dairy, fruits and veggies and meat if you eat meat. You can search around on the internet, there is alot of info out there..There is also alot of research about exercise and breast cancer..I go to the gym everyday...I do cardio for about an hour and a half and lift very light weights..The research that I have read shows that women who eat healthy and exercise will reduce their risk of having a recurrance..so why not give it all you got!!
I think educating yourself is a great start!! Keep looking!!
Best wishes to you Jules
hugs,
cj.
PS. make sure you speak to your onc. regarding your diet during chemo!!

Thanks, cJ. I'll keep all of that in mind. Have you had any experience
with herbs or the less traditional approaches to healing and continued
good health?
